HAT Organic Farm is a family-owned and managed venture driven by the diverse expertise of husband-and-wife duo, Vinoda and Nishanthi Amarasuriya. Together, we offer a unique combination of professional background and deep-rooted passion for sustainable tourism.
Vinoda Amarasuriya leverages over 30 years of international and local experience as a software engineer alongside credentials as a certified Organic Practitioner with extensive knowledge in organic agriculture and animal husbandry.
Nishanthi Amarasuriya complements this with more than 35 years of educational excellence, having served as a primary principal in a leading school in Colombo, & a qualified Speech & Drama teacher & serves as an examiner for EDEXCEL(Young Learners & General).
Both of us are officially trained Tourist Facility Providers certified by the Department of Trade, Commerce & Tourism – Central Province, bringing over four years of hands-on experience in the tourism industry. Further enhancing our hospitality credentials, Vinoda is a trained Tourist Transport Facility Provider too, while Nishanthi is currently finalizing Tour Guide Lecturer qualification for the Central Province.
